«Vom Abendrot zum Morgenlicht»

Shortcut to overcoming crisis: Schubert’s Winterreise (Winter Journey) as a roadmap to come out of a personal crisis stronger than before. In her book, based on the «Winter Journey» by romantic composer Schubert, Christina Kuenzle develops a model of how to cope with loss and failure. The tutorial in 2 times 12 steps is meant to help executives to come out of a crisis stronger than before.

Sadness, disappointment and loss trigger strong emotions which represent turning points in our lives and can give rise to deep despair if not dealt with timely and properly. From these painful experiences it is essential to distill what is positive, to better understand the mourning process and to draw renewed strength from the unavoidable disasters. Christina Kuenzle’s book should be read as a guide that helps people in crisis to find their way through the turmoil of their feelings as maps would help finding your way through a landscape. The route described in the «Winter Journey», leads from poem to poem in the eponymous song cycle.

The book includes 24 watercolours by Sigrid Braun-Umbach as well as the CD of the «Winter Journey» by Franz Schubert, performed by the tenor Christoph Homberger and the pianist Christoph Keller. This recording is the only one in the original sequence as written by the poet Wilhelm Müller.

Furthermore, Christina Kuenzle is the co-author of the books «Globalisierung – von der Vision zur Praxis» (Globalisation - from vision to practice) and «Mythos Coaching» (The myth of coaching).
