Christian Haas is an Executive and Business Coach, and Owner of Haas Associates, an executive search firm specialised in asset management. Before founding his own firm, Christian spent more than 10 years working for national and international asset management companies. He became an entrepreneur by way of setting up several venture projects. Christian is a Co-Founder of Urban Gurus, a C-Level and Senior Executive Network. Its main focus is the significance of each individual’s personal identification and questions of meaning. In his coaching, Christian has specialised in career management, the definition of and orientation to key success factors, authenticity and successful management of change projects. His clients value his clear and quick analyses, his always positive energy, his optimism when addressing tough topics and his pragmatic solutions to complex issues.
Education
Christian Haas holds a BSc in business administration from the University of Applied Sciences in Zurich. While on the front lines in the finance industry Christian completed his qualification as a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA). His profound interest in the interpersonal dynamics of corporate environments led him to earn an Executive Master’s Degree in Coaching and Consulting for Change at INSEAD. He wrote his Master’s Thesis on Sales Dynamics and Effectiveness in Asset Management Distribution. Christian’s work is significantly influenced by: the philosophy of Manfred Kets de Vries’ “clinical coaching”, his commitment to authenticity, ethics and the realisation of his clients’ personal visions.
Private life
Christian Haas lives in Switzerland. Homesick for the beauty of his birthplace in the Engadine, he spends most of his leisure time in Pontresina and in nature. To balance out his daily work activities you might see him jogging in summer, and skiing in winter.
