A well-managed team, in which the members work together in harmony, is more productive than
would be the sum of the efforts of the members as individuals. This sounds simple, but in practice
involves much hard work. In the team building programmes we therefore apply tools, which teach by direct
experience how a team can and should function, which advance the team’s performance and which simplify the
task of working together. The main points of focus are:

Development of the team’s personality: a reflection of the common set of values, the strengths and the typical group behaviour |

Enabling team experiences: strengthening the harmony via team events; applying team techniques in order to further good relationships between members |

Targeting techniques: setting common targets and reaching them successfully with clearly visible means |

Tapping potential: defining values and strengths, introducing changes |

Learning group culture techniques: defining and practising rules and group behaviour. |
For team building choice, in close co-operation with the Collegium Novum Zürich, a
professional musical ensemble, has developed a unique workshop: musicians und workshop
participants form, for one to two days, a team charged with a common task. They aim for
a set target, working at maximum capacity and quality - in the way that is permanently
expected of professional musicians. Thereby all the various role types are played through:
leading, following and supporting.
The intention is to balance contradictions between leading and
following, individual excellence and group support, insisting and
giving way, independence and fitting in, authority and partnership, perfection und
improvisation, so that best possible use is made of individual abilities and they are employed
for the benefit of the whole.
